Get a call from McDonalds for a job Interview, about the job application you submitted in last night. Analyze how desperate they must be for employees. Awkwardly inform them that you can't start until May and you weren't able to indicate that on the job application. Rejoice that your application was desirable enough to warrant a call. Be thankful that there's a pretty good chance of you getting a job this summer, at McDonalds at least. And if anything, you'll learn from the experience to have a healthy diet and a phobia of grease.

... I love college. I hope this day continues to be so positive.
No, I don't care if I wrote most of this entry in second person. Yes, I'm kind of an idiot.
Yesterday I fell in love with optical engineering. That's what I want to do and I'll do whatever it takes to get there. Obviously, I'm over dramatic about this, but I guess it can't hurt. There's a strong potential for motivation there, so somehow I'm just going to have to grind my head against my math book and get things going.
...I need to get a life though, seriously. It's Valentine's day and I'm more excited about some German club meeting this evening.
I was blankly staring at myself in the mirror today, asking myself what type of engineering major I truly wanted to be. I feel like I should know, like it should just immediately come to mind and be perfect, but it doesn't.
- And it drives me crazy! I thought I knew what the heck I was doing. I thought I had a mission here. So for now, I guess the only thing to do is to get my core engineering classes taken care of.
...As for more pressing matters, I'm out of soup and desperately need to go grocery shopping.
